I must ALWAYS completely power off the computer and disconnect power to the mobo to make it work. After about 30 minutes, I can power up the PC and the sound card is detected again. Unplugging the computer is also another option if you have the computer situated where you cannot reach the switch. The way I get around it is to not only power off the PC for about 30 mins, but I also turn the switch off at the power supply to power down the mobo completely. Hopefully it's behaving better after one more restart. Unfortunately that means unless your issue is resolved now, I just don't know what more to suggest beyond trying to rule out this Windows/driver install. For instance, PCIe 10-bit tag support caused all sorts of issues, at least until a more recent BIOS update (but even then I just leave it disabled). Lots of helpful specs there, wouldn't really ask for more - I can see it's an old enough platform, and not a problematic AMD one, so it rules out a ton of known issues and workarounds/fixes that would apply to a card disappearing. Still, you tried disabling Fast Startup (and honestly it's pointless if you have an SSD now), any luck so far? But as mentioned, rebooting/restarting will result in a clean one. Heya, so, fast startup's shutdown state can be equated to a hibernation, so even if you remove power from the system, it will still resume from that last state. Turned off my pc and pulled out the power plug for 20 minutes.Uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers and Command.I have followed the troubleshooting page on the creative website but nothing works.
All I did was turn off my pc, rest 30min, then turn on my pc again, and Sound Blaster Command tells me 'Your audio device cannot be detected, please check your connection'.
